Amenities:

A resort lodge enclave and extensive recreational opportunities create the basis of a recreation-oriented community in the northern part of the planning area. The majority of the property would remain undeveloped. Other amenities include golf courses, recreation center, playing fields and parks, biking and hiking trails.

Environment:

All environmental impacts would be analyzed and mitigated where feasible. Necessary permits and approvals would be obtained from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the California Department of Fish and Game, Regional Water Quality Control Board, and San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District.

Native American Conservation:

As Required by SB 18, Traditional Tribal Cultural Places (Burton) and the implementation of Tribal Consultation Guidelines, a Native American consultation will be initiated by Tulare County at an early stage in the General Plan Amendment process.
