Yokohl Ranch is owned by J.G. Boswell Company, a family-owned and managed company best known as one of the world's largest producers of cotton. The company is headquartered in Pasadena, California with major operations in Kings County (near Corcoran), California and in New South Wales, Australia. The company also conducts tomato farming and cattle ranching operations.

Unknown to many people, however, is J.G. Boswell Company's history in developing master-planned communities throughout the western United States. These communities include Sun City and Interlocken and EastLake.
